"Another mission begun, another trip to some destitute hole on the edge of nowhere. If nothing else is certain - and nothing yet is - it's clear that whomever is in charge of resource distribution needs to be replaced. At least this time I'll have no compunction about the violence we'll be meting out: McGannis is opportunistic scum and it's been clear to my family from the start that she never should have been given a position of power. And who knows, maybe this will be a wake-up call for Moderno as to the quality of his selections.

Rebellion report, supplemental update. Aria Callas and Johnny Alpha have entered Jinxing and officially joined the Vanguard. Aria noticed tattoos in phosphorescent ink printed across her skin, went home for personal reasons, and then self-medicated with alcohol in the privacy area. Johnny also went home to militarize his neighbors. Connor was busy with a sponsorship call, "Dalton" gained some unfortunate information, and Alan debated getting a cosmetic genetic treatment.

A violent revolution is definitely not a joke, and I have no intention of making light of it. And it can be a tough and emotional thing for civilians to go through, speaking from personal experience. And I know that it’s often much harder on the oppressor than on the opressed. However, I also know that it doesn’t necessarily turn you into a sad, depressed sack of tears for the rest of your life. Civilians can move past it, and heal.

Megalad (Old) returns to Halcyon, just in time to test out the Groundbreakers, the Trendstters's new secondary team. Meanwhile Megalad (Young) returns as well, ready to sign a new and improved contract to the Second Chance Society. Finally, an adorable meeting done for the Make-A-Wish Foundation happens.

I remember walking home from work one day, and a groundcar pulled up beside me. Then I remember the pressure of a rag over my face, and some chemical smell. After that, it's kind of a blur. There were injections. Hushed voices muffles by medical masks. The constant, cloying smell of a hospital. But then one day I woke up with someone strange in the room. He said he was from maintenance but he wasn't. He offered to take me from here, to let me join his friends. I barely had a choice; anything was better than being in that room with a needle in my arm.
