The Trendsetters have entered a dimension between the dimension between, and after defending itself from seemingly automated forces, arrive on an impossible planet. One old, abandoned, and very nearly empty. There, they meet the Mentor and the newly named Author and work to save the latter from their own power. They also work to make sure this never happens again, but things go off the rails, and they have to save one of their own from themselves...

With the Captainalist reaching a low-point, Young Gary is led to the next step of the plans of the Second Chance Society alone. Zero works with Chris Hartwick to continue to make Prima's living quarters as comfortable as possible. After that, it and Sundog go to talk to Calvert about returning the Vinterium they got from the casino back to Hell. Switch deals with the DHEA's brain chip, and with Zero's help, discover something shocking about it that could lead back to a Kestoran plot. However, before they can finish, Old Gary has finished his preparations to save Lovelace.

Once again I have found myself away from anything resembling actual civilization. This place smells funny, gives me a headache, makes it hard for me to breathe, and worst of all is MURDER on my pores. Still though, we managed to fulfill a few of our objectives, and the sooner we do those, the sooner we can leave. Though one does have to wonder how many of these secret villages there actually are, hiding under the Choir's nose and living rent-free on their... excuse me, "their" land without even so much as a single credit paid in taxes. If it wasn't for the fact that this wretched place makes me feel miserable, and we weren't out to topple them, it'd make for a good third home.

Megalad starts the process to rescue Lovelace, which involves both getting the trip between dimensions ready and a special weapon he's been cooking up for a while now. Felix reveals some things to Tiffany about her Uncle. Since they all will be gone for a while, the group quickly scrambles to get things set up for the change in the DHEA. However, Robin puts pieces of a puzzle together, and works in the only way they know how to get things done...

If nothing else is certain - and nothing yet is - it's clear that whomever is in charge of resource distribution needs to be replaced. Rebellion report, supplemental update. Aria Callas and Johnny Alpha have entered Jinxing and officially joined the Vanguard. Aria noticed tattoos in phosphorescent ink printed across her skin, went home for personal reasons, and then self-medicated with alcohol in the privacy area. Johnny also went home to militarize his neighbors. Connor was busy with a sponsorship call, "Dalton" gained some unfortunate information, and Alan debated getting a cosmetic genetic treatment.
