An attack on two fronts. While Cor and Johnathan go to the asylum to deal with the ghost problem, Salem heads to the meeting of the Primogen to prevent deaths. However, the asylum isn't what it seems, and the two run into a problem other than ghosts. The meeting also seems dead-set on trying to prevent the power players from making their moves. The fate of Chicago rests on the coetrie's heads, which seem to be rapidly less assured to stay on their necks... CONTENT WARNING: We are playing Vampire: The Masquerade. VtM only half-romanticizes vampires, and a large portion of the game is about exploring just how much of a monster you're willing to become. Since this game deals with heavier issues than most games we tend to play on this podcast, I am issuing content warning for the following subjects: Blood, violence, body horror, abuse of all forms, issues of consent, torture If you feel uncomfortable to listening to any of these subjects, please tread lightly, and we won't blame you for skipping this campaign if you do. Rahm Emmanuel has pointed the group towards the culprit behind the orders to break Masquerade: Prince Reiner Pilzer himself. Johnathan calls his sire to help discuss what to do, and in the end it's decided to take another master of Auspex to meet with the Prince to confirm it. The coetrie has to look their potential enemy in the eye and lie to his face. But is it worth it in the end? CONTENT WARNING: We are playing Vampire: The Masquerade. Panic in the city yet again! Al's copies have spread across the city's digital networks like wildfire, and #Trending is dealing with the aftermath of the DHEA's apparent lack of foresight. Robots, city infastructure, and even security systems aren't safe from the "young" AI's. It's going to take the team splitting up to deal with the problem in a timely manner. With a lead, the coetrie decides to split up to cover some ground. Johnathan goes to talk to Yvonne Long, the Brujah Primogen, in order to set up a meeting with Chicago's mayor. Meanwhile, Salem goes to talk to a group of Anarchs to close some possible leads and get a bit of blood that they need. Finally, Cor breaks into a house and very deftly finds some copies of evidence that they need. Afterwards they talk to Rahm Emmanuel, and learn something that is going to shake the very foundations of Chicago's vampire power structure to its core. Despite a scortched Earth policy, Johnathan saved one of the Thinbloods, a former meth cooker by the name of Luke. Luke leads them to a nightclub converted from a Church where the coetrie tries to find out who was ordering them to break masquerade. There they run into a Toreador by the name of Father Singleton, and they work to get closer to the bottom of the mystery. CONTENT WARNING: We are playing Vampire: The Masquerade.
